And yes I am playing with these too
First Attempt
and the finished product
Pattern - Easy Baby Cardigan (free) ; details here
Only modifications were the sleeves (yes they are missing)
I did not have the right size DPN's for them, so I went up one size and made it a vest by just doing an edging.
A very simple, quick knit, which I will be using again
Yarn - Bendigo Woollen Mills Luxury 8ply Citrus (top photo is truer to colour)
This is a gift for an upcoming, unknown sex, baby
The little baby cardigan is so cute and not too many seams........lovely.
ReplyDeleteBy the way thanks for the link to Mrs Denvers hilarious blog "Cobwebs and Catnip".

ReplyDeleteOh so sweet, so softy! Thanks for sharing Maria, I LOVE it so!!! :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic first attempt! I never could get the hang of knitting. Was supposed to do a bag on circulars for felting with my yarn and fiber group but wasn't able to make the meeting. Love those cute potholders you made for The Garden Bell and others. How ever to you get those patterns in there is beyond me. :) Best wishes, Tammy
ReplyDeleteLovely Maria - I quite like using circular needles once you get the hang of it. You have made this really well - great work.x
ReplyDeleteThis is extra special, Maria!
