ReplyDeleteThanks for the research you have done on the WWI soldier. I had come to the conclusion that his name might be Powell as you did but this soldier seems a bit old? Dorothy would have been a young girl in 1916- perhaps her early 20s.

Yes, he is Blinky Bill isn't he! So cute! And I think he looks fine without a mouth too. Soft toys never have to be realistic anyway.
