That time again
This month I am supporting NSW Women’s Refuge
The co-ordinator/collector is a fellow blogger Aussie Knitting Threads
and
And I just managed to squeeze the Pimpeleisee Scarf/Shawl in
And just so you know – No, I am not a speed crafter/knitter/crocheter
I do like having a variety of patterns to work
So I make them up and store them away for the right charity
Since I have supported this one before, I did have a little stock-pile
But note to myself – next year, make items for 4+ year olds
Not as many crafters for the LARGER sizes
They will be well received Maria :)) Beautifully knitted .. I like the way you have made the little poncho in squares .. Is it your pattern ??
ReplyDeleteThey look wonderful Maria.
ReplyDeleteThey all look lovely Maria. you are doing a great job.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Lovely things!! Ros
ReplyDeleteHi Maria,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog.
Your donations are lovely and will be well received I'm sure.
Congrats on your grandchild.
I like your little poncho too. In fact all your goodies are lovely and just in time for the colder weather. I like the simplicity of the garter-stitch shawl. To me garter-stitch always looks cosy.
ReplyDeleteAin't that the truth? I can guarantee that when I start the count for AIM next month, 20% will be beanies and of the clothing (as opposed to accessories), 98% will be for very small children.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the reminder to get my stuff in to mail for the Refuges!
Such a lovely thing knitting for a charity. I will have to make a few things as well.
