I mean, I'm glad it's rarely getting into the 30's, but it's really hard to decide what to wear when it's raining with stupidly high humidity! I don't think I'd ever worn a scarf in summer before this year.

So I wanted to let you know that I have arrived here via your gorgeous baby girl cardigan on ravelry. It's adorable but unfortunately I have a son. I do, however, have a 3 yr old niece who could serve as a model should you still wish to create the cardigan for a toddler/child size. let me know if so :)

Also, I apologise if I have double-posted. I'm using an iPhone and was having issues commenting via the mobile site.

And lastly, I'd like to wish you a happy Australia Day from one Aussie knitter to another!

Cheers
Mandee. Who cares, make all the summer beanies you want. I do them all the time as they're perfect for the charities I support. Yours looks lovely but I do tend to agree with you about Cleckheaton and all the other ACS yarns but I guess there's not a lot we can do about it as they produce most of our reasonably priced yarns. I think its awful how they're sending some of the production offshore and so many have lost their jobs.Dorothyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10237217955755971642noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6894411664423061672.post-14403021701908430912012-01-25T14:40:04.031+11:002012-01-25T14:40:04.031+11:00In this kind of weather, who could blame you for t...In this kind of weather, who could blame you for thinking it was beanie season!

I thought that last summer was bad enough, but this takes the cake!

cheers
FiTea with Prudencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02065738620618180181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6894411664423061672.post-58150922720934848042012-01-25T14:35:57.336+11:002012-01-25T14:35:57.336+11:00I think knitting beanies, mittens and socks as wel...I think knitting beanies, mittens and socks as well as baby clothes at this time of year is very sensible - first of all, it means being prepared for the winter and secondly, small projects are much nice to knit in hot weather (if we ever get some!)Lynnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07760744006915967397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6894411664423061672.post-56820750883950662102012-01-25T13:28:10.995+11:002012-01-25T13:28:10.995+11:00No your not mad LOL..
